At NXTLevel Hockey Academy, our intensive Girl's Curriculum is dedicated to teaching the player how to Fall In Love With the Process of Improvement while instilling drive and desire for future success in the game of hockey! Our process to achieve the Love of the Game will be accomplished through preparation, dedication and hard work within a challenging and fun environment for development. This camp will provide a high intensity environment for players to improve upon an already existing strong base of skills. Players will be consistently asked to challenge their comfort zones both on and off the ice.

What to expect...

75 Minutes of on ice instruction:

• 30 minutes of skating technique and edge control without pucks.
• 45 minutes of individual skill work, incorporating variations of shooting, passing and stick handling with an emphasis on improving your ability to control the puck with your head up in traffic. 

60 MINIUTES OF STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING:

• With a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, players will be introduced to working on controlling their body through space; development of core strength through body weight exercises, fundamentals of coordination and speed to enhance all aspects of athleticism.

60 MINUTES OF OFF-ICE TRAINING:

• Off-Ice Shooting: Focusing on shooting technique, power, speed, quickness and accuracy.
• Off-Ice Stick handling: Focusing on controlling the puck with an upright head position.
• Street Hockey: Have some fun while putting your newly developed skills to work!
• Basketball & Soccer: Utilizing diverse motor skills, you will improve overall athleticism.

45 MINUTES OF ON-ICE SMALL AREA GAMES:

• Giving players an environment to foster creativity through a series of small area games; here, we will let the game and the ice be the teacher and BENCH the coaching component.
• In a supervised environment, parameters and rules for the game will be provided, then it is time to let creativity and competitiveness take over.

Tuesday / Thursday 16U - 10U GIRLS CAMP

This camp will meet Tuesday and Thursday beginning on May 28th and continuing through August 1st.  We will not have camp on July 4th.  

Dryland - 8:00-8:45, Factory - 8:45-9:45, Ice - 10:00-12:00

Cost

Skater - $1,450 (Pay in Full or Pay in 3 installments. 

First payment of $500 due at registration. 

Second payment of $475 due on April 30th

Third payment of $475 due on May 24th

Goalie - $200 (No payment plan.  Full payment due upon registration)

* Patrons will pay processing fees

This camp also offers a multitude of benefits to our Goalies...while on ice, you will have the opportunity to practice endless game-time scenarios. Additionally, you will further advance your skills in participating in the off-ice strength and conditioning and multi-sport enhancement. At NXTLevel Hockey Academy, player progress is our #1 Goal. With guidance from our extensively experienced Coaches, players will begin to identify opportunities for improvement within their game. Each player will be evaluated at the start of camp and collaborate with NXTCoaches to establish goals to be accomplished by the end of camp. Progress reports will be provided mid-camp and at conclusion, players and parents can expect a final report of progress and recommendations for areas of  continued improvement...BETTER PREPARING YOU FOR THE UPCOMING HOCKEY SEASON!
